Something we haven’t seen much of in antilang. submissions is erasure poetry. And since we’re open for submissions for our themed issue on Labour until Feb. 14th, we thought we’d share a piece that co-founding editor Jordan published a couple years back. “Rest” is an erasure of the Regina Manifesto, an agrarian socialist document from Saskatchewan during the 1930s depression. This long-ish poem was an honourable mention for The Capilano Review‘s translate and transform contest. You can read the first page here and the rest (pun intended) in ti-TCR no. 17, then send us your own good short transformations!
